Bethlehem Inn of Waseca, a short-term transitional housing facility for women and children, is currently seeking
- A full-time Family Advocate for our 3 PM – 11 PM shift for Monday through Friday.
- A part-time Family Advocates for our 10 AM - 10 PM shifts for Saturday and Sunday
Our family advocates are responsible for ensuring guest safety, compliance with facility policies and guidelines as well as promoting a positive environment. Family advocates will also be responsible for light housekeeping.
Ideal candidates must be responsible, dependable and reliable. They must possess good oral and written communication skills, have sound decision making abilities as well as the ability to work independently and must work well with others. Some experience working with women and children or homeless preferred but not required.
Candidates must be 18 years of age and be first aid/CPR certified or be able to become certified upon hire. Candidates must be able to walk steps, stand for long periods of time and be able to lift at least 10 pounds.
